Space Colony (O'Neill Cylinder type) was first presented by Gerard K. O’Neill in 1974.
The diameter of the cylinder can be 3-8km, close type habitable has twice the space of open type. However, due to the living environment problem, open types are more popular, and the population density can be 8-15k people per square kilometer.
The three giant wings provide light to the interior of the city, so the colony is always facing the sun to reflect the sunlight, but otherwise it most use for radiation, especially for fission and even fusion generators.
The O'Neill cylinder of the Earth system was basically arranged in the Earth-Moon Lagrangian L4, L5 points, but the first to have a cylinder colony is the Mars system, both Phobos are a good source, then followed by the giant planetary system.
